Easter at the Rogers

We headed down to Sullivan for Easter this year. The day started with church and surprisingly Emily made it through the whole service with only a couple of yells up to Ma-ma and Pa-pa who were singing up in the choir.













She was a total ham in the Easter bonnet that we thought she'd hate!

As always, she had tons of fun playing with Drew and Dalton!!

The Easter Bunny....

Or should I say, Santa part 2. I had the day off work today so my girlfriends from work and I decided to take our kids to see the Easter Bunny. Emily talked about going to see him all morning. We put on her easter dress and off we went. Once we got to the mall, we pulled up in the stroller to line and Emily decied "I don't like easter bunny". There was no coaxing her on this one. She would wave from far away in the safety of her stroller, but once I took her out, she wanted to go nowhere near that bunny. The bright side....she saved us thirty bucks on pictures :) So instead, I splurged for her first carousel ride!

Easter Egg Hunt 2009

No, it's not easter yet, but we have had some easter fun already. Last weekend, we took our friends to the easter egg hunt at church. We did crafts, played games, ate doughnuts and of course the big hunt. Emily had lots of fun with Emma, as always. The hunt however didn't interest Emily all that much. She picked up about 5 eggs then decided it was much more fun to play on the playground! That's our Emily :)

There was no Easter bunny at this event (which probably was a good thing...).
